G'day,

Is it possible to configure FME Server that only a certain Engine will run certain Workbenches and if so, what property within FME Workbench could be set for FME Server to detect?

Cheers,

Hi Goochy,

You can configure the Transformation Manager to run certain workbenches on a certain Engine.  See "fmeInstance" on page 372 of the Reference Manual.

Have fun :)

Oakey is quite right, although admittedly that has never been easy.  But yes you can include this fmeInstance parameter when you submit a job.

But I should mention that in FME Server 2013 this is going to much easier . You'll be able to associate a Repository with an FME Engine.
