FME Desktop 2022: How to filter all records based on the “null” value of particular field?

In the screenshot, I couldn’t figure out how to filter all records that have “null” values in the “ump_layers”

In the Tester operator column, replace "=" with "Attribute is null" from the drop-down list.

Using equals will only test for empty strings, not null values.

Although you already have a perfectly good answer, I covered this subject in my Question-of-the-Week video. I made it more of a general introduction to nulls in FME, so you might find other parts that are of interest to you, such as how to set a null value and how different formats treat them.
