We have installed FME 2026.3 on both Desktop and Flow. However, it looks like there is a bug in FME 2026.3. No matter what I do in a workbench, I get the same error message. If I open a blank workspace and drop in a random file, I already get the following error message during the initial file read:
Error running translation: Unknown FME Geometry 'fme_voxel_grid' specified. A fatal error occurred during translation. FME Daemon is shutting down
Workspace generation failed.

Thanks, The solution was to uninstall it and install it in a different directory C:\Program Files\FME2026 instead of C:\Program Files\FME. Probably some files with voxel_grid configuration that was not deleted when overwriting the installation

+55Classic IT solution. Turn it off and turn it on again! 🤣 I ran into something very similar the first time I tried to manage multiple installs of FME for version control. Glad it is working for you now!
+4Interesting solution , install in a different directory. On our server it is already installed in a folder FME2026, but we get this exact error too. With FME2024 the workbench runs allright, but with 2026.3 version it does not!

My situation is also for FME Form, but it is installed on a server ;)
