Hi,

I am using FME13, trying to modify a .dwg file.

The original file has lots of information written in format attributes and there are also some encoded utf-16 format attributes. I am able to expose them and transform or modify the strings but I cannot get any in the writer output file. I don't want new extra attributes so renaming the format attributes to something else wouldn't work. Is it possible to edit encoded format attributes and write them out?

Thanks!

Have you looked into the AttributeEncoder? Not sure if it is available in FME 2013 though.

No AttributeEncoder isn't available for FME13..
