Hi,

When running a workspace with cache mode activated i can see in the Translation log that fme form writes ffs, and writes and index and so starts it with a process i am not familiar with: “Destination Feature Type Routing Correlator” and it takes so long to go through.

What is this process about? is it possible to avoid?

Thanks in advance!

You can avoid it, probably, by turning Feature Caching off.

Obviously Featur Caching is great for when you’re developing a workspace, where the added penalty of longer processing time is compensated by the ease of inspecting data at every point. However, what you can do is place a bookmark around a large portion of your workspace and then collapse the bookmark. Only the ports coming out of it will be cached, so none of the stuff that happens inside the bookmark.
