Hi can FME deal with BPF files (point cloud data storage), or is it planning on supporting this..

Hi @leestamm looks like FME cannot support BPF (Bias Parameter File) by themselves but can use them alongside the file you are trying to use (e.g. Landsat-8). If you would like support for the format I would suggest submitting an idea on our Ideas Page and explain what your use case is so that we may implement it in the future! https://community.safe.com/ideas

HI its not a bias parameter file, its a point cloud file. 

It can be opened/used by QT reader and eyeglass but not much else.. 

typically it needs to be translated to a las file..

Sorry @leestamm did you mean the Binary Point File (BPF) instead? We do not have support for this file format either, but we do continuously add new support for popular integrations that are posted to our Ideas Page. I’ve posted an idea for the format here if you’re able to vote and share!
