Hi! Im trying to make a simpel .dwg (only the outside is what i want) from a more complex .ifc model. Are there any workspaces or seminars that describe how this is done? Any help is appreciated

Hi @northswejohan

The FME Autodesk Revit reader can read IFC files as well, and it has built in Data Views to simplify the BIM data for you. The Building Envelope data view will extract the exterior of the building in a form suitable for writing to AutoCAD DWG.
