Bentley POD Reader

Hello Community,

I wonder if anyone has recent experience with Bentley POD Reader. This reader requires installed and licensed Bentley Pointools, which has been deprecated for several years by now and can not be purchased anymore. Is there another way to read POD files with FME? Can Pointools be replaced with something else to enable POD Reader?

    Thank you for posting your question on the FME Community!

    Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a workaround to read POD files with FME. However, I've flagged this internally for the dev team to review (IDEA-2786).

    In the meantime, if you can export to LAS or E57 using another tool, that will likely be your best path forward. Sorry we don't have a better answer here!
