Why do the knowledge links fail?

Why do all the links in your community portal always go back to the login page.

https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/543/floating-license-troubleshooting.html\

goes to https://community.safe.com/

Nothing against the community, but that’s not what I was looking for

It makes your portal less useful.

@chrisgoodman the links were broken with the Community migration project, and we are just about wrapped up with the Knowledge Base migration project. Once that one is live, the old knowledge.safe links should be working as expected.

In the meantime, I suggest searching for the article based on the link or by taking the stub floating-license-troubleshooting and appending it to support.safe.com/s/article/ as @virtualcitymatt has suggested.

We appologize for any inconvience during the migration.

Yeah it looks like there are some broken links although from what I can see a lot also work. I was able to find the page you’re looking for

https://support.safe.com/s/article/floating-license-troubleshooting

the pattern is

https://support.safe.com/s/article/<article_name>

perhaps @LizAtSafe is able to help?

Thanks VC mat and Liz@,

Happy to update that all the redirects should be in place. Please @ me or open a Support Case for any lingering broken links and I’ll look into it! Note that some content has been archived over the years, but I’ll try my best to find a suitable replacement!
