Question of the Week - This or That

TestFilter because it can replace multiple separate Testers -and- it gives me the option to name my output ports, so for long-term maintainability and best practices this is infinitely better. 

Mountains but it depends on the beach, I find a rocky coastline very interesting (spent some time on the Oregon coast 2 years ago and it was sublime!)

Light mode but that's mostly because I do a lot of FME demo’ing and light mode works better on a big screen or projector.

Morning person if I've had enough coffee.

TestFilter, creating custom outputports saves me documenting the transformer. I even use a TestFilter for single tests.

Mountains covered with snow is a plus!

Light Mode because summertime and mostly working during day hours nowadays.

Morning Person, becoming a dad converted me. I now really appreciate sunrise.

TestFilter it’s easier to annotate the output port and I like to filter records conditionally

Mountains despite living near the coast, you tend to want what you don’t have readily available

Light mode always stuck with this as taking screen shots is more legible than dark images, but I do utilise OS settings to turn down the brightness into an evening

Night Owl as I find a second wind in the evening after sitting at a computer

TestFilter slowly weening myself off the Tester. I find the TestFilter to be much easier to self document (ability to name the output port specifically)

Mountains On a beach sand gets everywhere 🙃

Dark Mode for anything code related
Light Mode for FME and anything text (Word/Outlook etc) related

Morning Person, the sooner you start ticking off your days to do list, the sooner you can sit down and relax!

• TestFilter: generally saves space on canvas and much more ”transparent” than Tester. 
• Mountains: Love the air and the vistas. Best when located near coast line.  
• Light Mode: Depends on what application. Cant stand Form in dark. 
• Night Owl: Love the darkness and the quiet.

Here are my picks 😄

• Tester — because testing and validating workflows is part of every solid FME project.
• Mountains — especially places with history, cold weather, and great landscapes.
• Dark Mode — easier on the eyes during long work sessions.
• Morning Person — coffee, planning, and productivity early in the day ☕🚀

And honestly… FME workspaces look better in Dark Mode

• Testfilter - even though 90% or more of my scripts use tester, I want to force myself to use  Testfilter more.🤣(maybe because it looks so big hence why I opt out of it)
• Beach - I really miss the beaches.
• Dark mode - if application is perfectly built for it.
• Morning person - I’d like to be more of a morning person - I’ll probably live longer this way.

• TestFilter - As others have already said above: you can name the output ports, which makes workspaces easier to read.
• Mountains - I like to be active during my holidays. Mountais are for walking, beaches are for laying down. But a combination of beach and mountains would be even better.
• Light Mode - somehow dark mode makes me feel gloomy.
• Morning Person and Night Owl - A bit of both. I have no problem getting up early, but I also like to sleep in once in a while. And I tend to do some private work in the evening, and go to bed (too) late.
