        Well last week it was snowing, followed by a -5c morning (Christchurch, New Zealand). Thankfully, my partner and I had booked a long weekend over in Brisbane (Australia) so that was a fantastic distraction from the cold weather.

          Enjoying the weekends hiking around BC! Here’s one of the spots we visited β€” the Cypress Trestle Bridge. Hiked down to the Cypress Pop-up Village for pizza and cold refreshing beer was amazing!

                Earlier this summer, I took a trip to Newfoundland! We flew into St. John’s and then explored the Avalon Peninsula. Highly recommend a trip to this part of Canada!

                  🌿 Kotagiri, Tamil Nadu, IndiaΒ β€” a quiet escape in the Nilgiris

                  Tucked away in the beautiful Nilgiri Hills of southern India, Kotagiri is a charming hill station known for its cool climate, lush tea estates, misty mountains, and peaceful surroundings.

                  Away from the crowds of more famous hill stations, Kotagiri offers a slower, more authentic mountain experience. Take a walk through the tea plantations, explore scenic trails, enjoy the views from Catherine Falls, or simply find a quiet spot and watch the clouds roll across the hills.

                  For travelers looking to experience the quieter side of the Nilgiris, Kotagiri is a place worth putting on the map. πŸŒ„πŸƒ

                  In 2018, I visited Kotagiri to unwind after the FME World Tour 2018 India events. It was the perfect place to slow down, breathe in the mountain air, and reflect on an incredible journey.

                  Now, after all these years, I’m looking forward to visiting Kotagiri again β€” this time with my little travel companion, #FMELizard. 🦎❀️

                  Some places are worth revisiting. Some memories are worth recreating.

                      Not sure if september counts as summer, but I’ll be doing a cycling trip in southern Scotland with a brief stop in Edinburgh afterwards. From there, I hope to visit the Great Polish Map of Scotland.

                      Other than that my summer has been filled with work, cycling and a couple of very fun photoshoots 😎

                            Spent a few days in Lille, up north in France, and tried an amazing Welsh au Maroilles. It's the traditional Welsh dish: toasted bread with ham, drowned in cheese melted with beer and mustard, then baked and served with fries. Here it's made with a very strong local cheese. Not everyone's cup of tea, I suspect, but cheese lovers will get it. 🀀
