Hi all,

I am struggling to get the following to work. In my IT environment we use APP-v to deploy FME workbench. Now I want to automate the license within the package. So I installed FME workbench but is automatically opens the licensing manager, which is nice but I want to specify the license myself. What file can I make that I can implement in the application so it instantly recognizes its license. I tried the admin guide but did not work. We have floating licenses.

So what file can I make to specify the license within the application, so that users don't have to enter it themselves.

It should be possible to include the three *.dat files from “C:\ProgramData\Safe Software\FME\Licenses” in your package distribution.

They contain the license server connection details.

Thanks for the answer, the path does not show anything. This because there is no license made because my app-v seguencer is not connected to the internet. Is there anyway to find a .dat template which you are able to fill in yourself?

The files are created once you successfully connect to the FME license server, either through FME Workbench or the FME Licensing Assistant.
