Why is the "Show Developer information" code/form so different (and worse) than the form on the configure page. The configure page has check boxes for layers and a drop down menu for formats, but the show developer code has none of that. Can we get the code for configure form (which does't show up in view source).

Hi,
We already have an enhancement request to do something like this (PR#20483) so I'll link your question to it so we get informed if/when it is implemented.
However, in general, we expect most users will be creating a customized web front end for their FME Server system (if it is public facing). But everyone's requirements differ and some use JavaScript and some use REST and so on, and it would take a lot of effort for us to set up and maintain a more complex set of info. So what we provide is just a basic set of info to get you started.
If you have a specific use case then please do contact our support team (quote PR#20483) and ask them to add your comments to the request.
