FME and Caris HPD

Does anyone have any experience of using FME to push out data from a Caris Hydrographic Production Database (HPD)? HPD Server utilises Oracle storage, and FME can obviously be connected to an Oracle db. Can this connection be used to read a Caris HPD?

@simondeeves I don't think we have heard of anyone exporting directly out of the Caris HDP database. There's no reason you couldn't, but success will depend on the HDP data model and how well you understand it. It does look like Caris support exports to some GIS formats as well as S-100 GML so that might be an option for you.

@simondeeves, The recently released HPD 4 allows batch exporting HPD data to GIS format such as shp file using carisbatch utility. I encourage you to contact Teledyne CARIS Online Customer Services for further information.
