Hi all,

My colleague and I are preparing to do the Form and Flow certification exams.

We use our work laptop to start Talview. The laptop only has FME Form 2024 (scripted).
We would like to remote desktop onto our azure virtual machine to access Form 2025 for the exam.  This machine is also set up for publishing to Flow.

Will Talview allow access to a remote machine for the exam?

Thanks,

Annette

Hello Annette,

You can access Form 2025 on your Azure virtual machine during the exam. Talview will flag the exam, but I’ll allow it when I review their report.

Thanks @ryanatsafe - in you’re view are there any clear actions which you would see as fail worthy? There are a few questions like this in the community. It would be nice to get some kind of list of acceptable and unacceptable to give exam goers a bit of clarity.

Hi virtualcitymatt,

Interacting with someone during the exam would be an automatic fail.

Using web resources outside of the safe.com domain would be a fail as well. Exceptions would be virtual machines to access FME Form and FME Flow.

I was resisting the idea of using the AI in FME Workbench, but seeing that it is built right into it now, using the AI in FME Workbench is allowed.
