I redid both my Pro and Flow certifications at the start of the year, I had basically no problems with the platform, however I can agree with all the little issues mentioned by u/Prestigious_Hat2756 in the Reddit thread. That said, you can safely ignore any “stern warnings” that may pop up, they seem to be coming from an automated system and not from a real person, and they seemingly have no effect on the outcome.

Thanks David for the information. It is appreciated. Good to know you can ignore the stern warnings and continue.
I will do the exams and while most of the questions are straight forward it is good to be able to check the documentation or quickly test something in FME Form/Flow if needed.

I did mine a couple of months ago and as David has said, its an AI proctor not an actual person so the warnings are automated. I only got one for accidentally clicking off my screen but you are able to use any web page within the Safe Software domain so all the documentation and community posts are available to use without warning.
I would suggest having all the tabs you need open before starting the exam, should help avoid any AI shouting at you for the most part.
Good luck!
Hi,
I just did the exam and it went without much pain. I got a warning for pasting a transformer name, and then the site falsely claimed there were more people in the room when a car drove by my office.
I used all the documentation available from the Safe Software domain and had an instance of FME opened during the test. No problems there.
Note that Talview expects you to make a 360 deg recording of your work station/room, so make sure you got a webcam/laptop to be able to move it around.
Good luck!
A tip for those who may have their browser settings set very restrictive: go ahead and give your browser permission to access your camera and microphone before you begin the test session.
Also, stay calm if something unexpected happens and follow the instructions. It will be ok.
When I took the exam I received a warning that there was an issue with my internet connection. I followed the instructions on the screen and had to exit the exam and re-enter to fix the problem.
While I had an initial moment of panic, I went through all of the steps again and was able to re-enter the exam (showing id, redoing the 360 video). Thankfully, my progress was saved so I did not have to redo any questions. I just started back from the question I was on when I got the warning. I was able to successfully complete the exam and received the results after submitting.
