Hello,

I am using FME Flow 2021 with 2 VMs and a Load Balancer all on Windows 2016.

In Windows File Explorer (not in FME Flow), what folder/subfolder(s) are the uploaded workspaces and automations stored in?

Is there a link to a document that explains what files are stored in what File Explorer folders or something similar for FME Flow?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Are these both express installs? Or have you followed the architecture here: https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME-Flow/AdminGuide/Planning-Fault-Tolerance.htm

A setup like this should be referencing and sharing a centralised database and system share.

The workspaces etc are stored in the FME Flow System Share which is referenced across many of the installation/setup/administration guides

Thank you, @hkingsbury. This is the full version of fault-tolerant installation. I did not install the software and cannot find any documentation on what or where of the FME Flow System Share path. Do you, or anyone else, know where the System Share Path is located in Windows File Explorer - Program Files - FMEFlow folders? Maybe it is in a text file or another file type I can access using NotePad++?

In the installation directory of FME Flow there’s a Server directory with some config files, including fmeEngineConfig.txt, the FME_MAPPING_DIR setting points to the repositories folder. Each repository has its own subfolder and then every workspace has its own subfolder in the repository folder, with the actual .fmw file and any source files that were published along with the workspace.

Alternatively, you can try doing a search on the likely network drives for a repository folder, or a specific .fmw file that you know is going to be there.

And probably needless to say: when you’ve found it, document it!
