Licensing FME Server Fails

I'm trying to licence a new installation of FME Server, but I keep getting these errors if I upload or request a new licence respectively. I'm sure my license file is valid. Whats going on?

The license file failed to upload

In most cases these errors are caused by a permissions issue. If you have a distributed installation or a FME Server Systems Share that is on a network drive you will most likely have to change the Log On As account running the FME Server services to an account with proper permissions.
