I heard the license server for FME 2016 is going to change from FlexLM to Docker.
Is that correct?
And how is that going to affect plugins running on FlexLM licenses?

The FME Server licensing looks like it is going to move away from FlexLM. Not sure if Docker has anything to do with it or not.
I'll ask about the FlexLM-based plugin licensing. Do you have such plugins on Server, or just Desktop?

I'm told yes, plugins will be supported, and no, it has nothing to do with Docker. It's just a built-in licensing method for FME Server.

FME 2016 Desktop is "business as usual" -- unchanged.
