I am moving my license server software to a new server with the same name as the old one. Do I need to deauthorize my license on the old server first? If so how do I do that? I don't see an option in the LMTOOLS UI.

You will need to contact your FME reseller or Safe directly to get a new license file, as the license is tied to the MAC (network) address of the host machine and not the host name. You'll make it easier for them if you include your old safe.lic file (from the existing license server) and the hostid.txt file from the new license server (you'll find it in the license server directory after installation)
