FME Server Upgrade - Trial License

Hi - I wanted to find out if a trial license will be lost if FME Server is upgraded?

 

Is an uninstall/re-install and then restore config backup.

Will this loose the trial license? If so - how does one continue the trial?

e.g. FME Server 2020 installed and wanted to upgrade to 2020.0.01 which I see was just released.

Hi @jiriteach,

 

You will have to re-license FME Server if you upgrade, however it doesn't count as a new trial as long as you are within your trial period. Just use the request a license form in the web interface once you have installed the new version. (Don't forget to back up your current installation if you want to keep your settings. )
