fme flow 2023.2 fmeserver.log warning on startup

Dear all,

when fme flow start I still have this warning:

Thu-18-Sep-2025 03:36:23.523 AM   WARN     main   401881 : Parameter ENABLE_AUTOMATION_LOG_CLEANUP missing from config file. Using default value of: true
Thu-18-Sep-2025 03:36:23.523 AM   WARN     main   401881 : Parameter MAX_NUM_AUTOMATION_DEBUG_LOGS missing from config file. Using default value of: 200000
Thu-18-Sep-2025 03:36:23.523 AM   WARN     main   401881 : Parameter AUTOMATION_DEBUG_CLEANUP_INTERVAL missing from config file. Using default value of: 120

I’ve searched in the documentation but these parameters aren’t documented and I don’t know in which file I have to insert to prevent the warning in the fmeserver.log (common config or flow config).

Anyone has a suggestion?

Hi Gio,

I would like to provide some updates on these warning messages.

I found that this bug was reported before, and it should be fixed in FME build 23766. Could you confirm if the version you are using is older than this build?

Hi Gio,

Sorry for the late reply. I was on holiday in Australia. 

This issue was fixed in the newer version (FME build 23766), and an upgrade should fix the warning message issue.
