Does anyone know if there would be a performance difference between having linked transformers stored on a shared external drive compared to a local drive?

I do not have much experience with linked custom transformers yet, but my current understanding is that there may be slightly longer load times when opening the workspace using the linked transformer, however no performance decrease in translation. Would this be correct?

I’d agree with you logic there, with the size of custom transformers (generally small) and the relative speed of storage I expect there to be very little delay when opening. There may also be a very small delay when starting the FME process
