Question

How can efficiently translate a 15G Jp2 to Jpg (old) for use in Map Proxy? Is there a better format to use?

Hi @maurice I saw in website MapProxy and it works with wms. You can create wms tiles.

But if you want to create a jog file, its possible very simple workspace: New Generate Workspace and ype Reader and Writer.

Thanks,

Danilo

Thanks Danilo,

Yes it works fine for small images. I am trying to convert 15G jp2 to jpg and I think there is a limit

to jpg, as well as finding the right compression ratio for the best resolution.

Hi @Maurice,

You can try to reduze the size your output in Writer - Parameters:

You can do another test to tile your source data.

Thanks,
