BTW. I am very curious to know why the developer of FME does not provide the IFC writer?

I can only find the IFC reader but there is no IFC writer. Is there way to export IFC data?

IFC is indeed listed as a read-only format on http://www.safe.com/fme/format-search/
It might be a licensing issue or a technical reason for this, I suggest you contact Safe support for details.

A IFC Writer and Revit Reader would be very nice. Curious to see which new formats Safe is going to add later!
+5Any developments on this? I noticed that 2014 SP3 has a IFC writer now althoguh there doesnt seem to be too much support on this format on line but a Revit writer would indeed be very useful.
