Hi all,

I am trying to convert a AGS File to a standard format to view such as Excel or Shape.

I seen something like this online using leapfrog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtyrYsx9teE but struggling to find a simple solution in doing this with FME.

Any useful tips would be great.

A good starting point is using the Generate Workspace functionality in FME Desktop, you'll find it under the File menu:

You can find more information in e.g. the training manual: https://safe-software.gitbooks.io/introduction-to-fme-desktop/content/2.translations/2.02.generate-workspace.html

And in the documentation: https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Workbench/Workbench/workspace-dialog-using.htm

Leapfrog indeed might be a pain. Try some free online tool like this one:
