I have this .xml file that when opened on data inspector I can view the models. I was wondering if it is possible to convert .xml files to .3ds?

Hi,

if the Data Inspector can view the XML files without any further processing, I'd say there's a very good chance. Try letting the FME Workbench wizard set up the basic translation for you and take it from there.

File -> New... -> Generate workspace...

I got a folder with images and a .3ds file. When I import the file to sketchUp it says import results: materials:299, nodes:813 and meshes:813, but nothing is displayed
