I am new to fme, I set up a processing chain to compare two shape files and I would like the output file which will be a renamed shape of the columns.

for Example the file checked I have a column called depth_1 I would like the export ca to be depth_upstream.

is this possible in fme ?

You can indeed rename output columns in FME, but note that Shape files are limited to max 10 characters for column names.

Thank you for your response

Yes indeed I had forgotten this limit.

So I was thinking instead of trying to directly integrate the data into the database. Knowing that I do not know, however, if it is possible to connect this column depths to upstream depths.
