Hi Everyone

I have a nice complex workspace with a lot of linked transformers.

I would like to embed all of the linked transformers.

This is the resource page that I have been looking at:

https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_Desktop/Workbench/custom_transformer_embedding_linking.htm

For some reason, I can only "edit" linked transformers but not embed them.

Second test was to "Embed All Transformers" under the Menu>Transformers

This action is now greyed out..

Greyed out

Any tips how to get embed my linked transformers?

I have a suspicion I cant embed them because the transformers are somehow part of my default Paths?

Any help will be appreciated!

Cheers

Fred

It could be that it was exported with "Linked Always" as insert mode you won't be able to embed it.

It may also depend on what's happening inside the custom transformer. For example, a custom transformer that uses looping and has a blocking transformer inside the loop can't be embedded.

Hi Redgeographics

Yes you are correct. When exporting them I do remember the Insert Mode to always be linked, which I indeed selected. It is a pity, because looking back, this was the wrong option to choose for my specific case. Thanks for the quick reponse.
