I've now run into this issue several times now.
If I create a custom transformer in my workspace, and create some parameters in it to be given values in the main part, some of those parameters doesn't accept variables, only text editor and workspace parameters.
What is triggering this odd behaviour ?

+29I got it to work after backporting my workspace to 2018.1. Not optimal, but I'll take what I can.
I'm currently looking into whether this workspace will run in 2021.0, so I can submit it for automation.
