Hello,

Does anyone know if FME is able to connect directly to an Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular model. I know it can connect to SQL Server. I also know I can read an excel sheet that is connected to the tabular model, but I would like to connect directly to a tabular model.

Thanks,

David

I don't think we've heard of anyone trying to directly connect to Analysis Services Tabular from FME. From a quick search of the MS website, it looks like connection options to SSAS are OLE DB , HTTP (no mention of REST), or mostly MS clients like Excel, PowerBI, SQL Server.

Thanks for the response,

The desire to connect to SSAS is probably not a common one. I wanted to make sure there was not a simple way that was being overlooked.
