Question of the Week [Bingo Square 14]: What’s your favourite way to take a break?

Honestly, doing something “mindless”. I find when doing an activity that doesn’t require processing power, my complex issue gets shuffled to the unconscious brain and often comes up with a new idea that I hadn’t thought of with my conscious side! This can be a walk, a video game that doesn’t require much thought, playing pool/foosball or even washing dishes! :)

When working from home, we have a forested path with a creek about a mile long across the street that makes for a great quick escape (there is a highway on the other side of the creek but it’s still a nice little escape). When at work, similarly we take group walks.

Break? What’s a break? My brain doesn't allow breaks; I always have to be doing something.

Tough to choose between a mellow walk with my dog and curling up with a good book.

Message the slack group to go up for a coffee break and play some foosball!

Get out of the office and go for a run!!! Clears the mind!!!

I’d like to get some inspiration with some music, generally Rick Wakeman’s some solo is refreshing me for the rest of the work.

Making tea and getting a snack though I have to admit that sometimes I think of the solution exactly at the end of the workday just after I've closed my laptop.

Usually take a walk or turn up my music, but with the Bundesliga season starting soon I might catch a few min or check the score and news! Go SC Freiburg!

​@arcvancouver Sometimes I listen to ATC - especially when a British Airways flight comes in - just so I can hear a British accent! 

I go and talk to my cats if they are surprisingly awake. Maybe I'll get a good answer?
