In no particular order:
Go for a walk
Drink tea/coffee (time of day dependent)
Read something/anything else other than FME and the problem being tackled
FME Community
Coffee and some comedy, shout out to Kill Tony !
Best way to unwind for me is play a game with the kids whenever I work at home or I grab my ereader and drift away in litrpg stories.

Simply Sit in front of Lush Green and have a sip of Lemon Tea.
I don’t take breaks
I like to zoom into a random point globally on google maps and just explore a bit.
Sunshine => Taking my motorcycle for a ride and maybe having a coffee and a piece of cake at my favority bike stop
If I’m WFH, I get into a session of Motor Town, this bizarre driving sim from a sole (Seoul?) developer based in South Korea. A bit TOO relaxing at times, it can be hard to get back into the work!
It’s a trick question: I don’t need breaks from FME 😉
But coffee with colleagues is a good start 😂
Drink a coffee, take a look on the community, drink a coffee, have another coffee. Drink a coffee. Ask an AI how much coffee is too much coffee, have another coffee.
Like many others, walk the dog or work out!
For a short break, I go outside for a little bit or pick up an atlas to browse through. Longer breaks, I go for a bike ride or work on something creative (cartography professionally or photography as a hobby)
Motor Town does sound very interesting by the way, I also game a lot and I like open worlds. Currently into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
A 5-6km run or a very long walk.
Gridgames 😍 Don’t try it, you’ll get addicted...
Best case: Go for a walk/run, preferably on tracks/trails and a snack.
Put my hard thinking on the backburner, and do someting else, like…
Get a coffee
Take a short walk
Talk to someone
Go to the loo
Think about a question somebody posted on the FME forum
Do some random browsing on the web
Go for a run or a tennis at launch with my teamates.
A hot cup of tea and a little stretch. After work is another thing: dojo, walking in the park or scale modelling.
Like many, A walk, cup of tea, food, anything to break my mind away from the problem so my brain can get a chance to get a different perspective.
Sometimes I also do something complete different from my do to list. But yeah, something to drink always helps.
Depending on how much time I have, either go running, a short dance break or knitting 🌞
Winter - Decent coffee and get some sun rays
Summer - Hit the Pool
Depends, but if it’s just a quick break then I’m partial to a cup of coffee and watching something on Youtube that embiggens my horizon.
Lately it’s been mostly technical stuff on coding with AI.
When I'm knee-deep in a tough FME project, my favorite way to take a break is to channel my inner lizard: I climb onto a sunny windowsill, stare blankly into the distance, and pretend I'm basking on a rock in the Atacama Desert.
I like to take breaks by hanging out wih my French Bulldog Sunny, drinking way too much coffee or just reading a bit to relax.
