Question

FME and SSH/PEM keys

I need to use the FTPCaller in FME Desktop but I can only connect to the SFTP Server via a .pem key.

However, as it is not an area I've really used before, I'm struggling to understand the authentication method. I'm fine connecting when authentication not required, it is just that I need to use a .pem key and I'm not sure how to reference this in the transformer.

Any help would be grateful.

Hi @davidwhiteside, I have to say I've never attempted this in that way either. I wonder if you might have better luck with a SystemCaller? I investigate this to see if it is even possible.

Cheers,

Can you try using a program like Pageant to apply the SSH keys as suggested here.
