If I look at the web interface I receive errors.

Error: Error communicating with FME Server. FME Server may not be running. Contact your FME Server administrator who can investigate the log files for further details.Connection refused: connect.

Does anyone know what the source of these messages are?

Hi

Check that all the FME Server services are up and running:

  • FME License Server
  • FME Server Application Server
  • FME Server Core
  • FME Server Database
  • FME Server Engines
  • FME Server SMTP relay (optional)

David

They are all running! Reboot, Restart doesn't help

If all the services are running, you should probably check the FME Server logs for errors.

Try looking under Manage / Resources / Logs, in particular in core / current / xxx_fmeserver.log

Could be a timeout. Does it take a long time or a short time to return that error? Also, what web browser are you using? Do you get a different result with a different browser?

It takes less then a second that the message appears on the Engine Management page.Tried the latest version of Chrome, Edge and IE same result.

Then I'm afraid it's beyond me. If the log files don't provide any clues I would contact your local reseller support or the Safe support team (http://safe.com/support)
