How to embed a web-connection in a workbench so it is accessible to other users

Hi - I've set up a workbench to update a number of feature service layers in Esri ArcGIS Online. The feature services exist under my individual account within ArcGIS Online and the workbench therefore requires the appropriate web connection in order to run successfully. I've set the web connection as public and have ensured that the public key is in an accessible folder that is referred to in the workbench.

However when a colleague opens the workbench it contains a reference to a different web-connection (one they have previously entered in another workbench).

Is there any way to get the web connection that I have entered to persist in the workbench so that it is used when other colleagues open the workbench?

Thanks very much for any advice.

Does the Webconnection have a unique name? You should just be able to rename the connection right?

Thanks for looking into this.

The connection does have a unique name (and requires a password). I've set this up using my credentials as these are what is required to update the Feature Services. But when colleagues open the workbench it loses those details. Whilst other users can then enter their own credentials or set up a new web connection this does not enable them to update the feature services in question.

So I really need the details that I've entered for the web connection to persist regardless of who opens the workbench (or any other users would have to set up a connection using my credentials).

I hope that makes sense.

OK, you've mentioned that you've set up a public connection, however, do the users who are opening up the workspace have the default connection path set to the same shared folder where public connections are stored. Each user needs to set this in the FME workbench options then then restart Workbench. https://community.safe.com/s/article/making-database-and-web-connections-public

It's not enough just to share the workspace, FME Workbench must be configured for each user.
