The webpage titled, "Efficiently Convert ArcSDE to GDB" doesn't provide documentation on how to do that. Is there a tutorial or documentation somewhere on how to convert ArcSDE to a File geodatabase?

In its simplest form, it is an SDE Reader connected to a GDB Writer
Have a look at either FME Quick Translator (a separate app installed when workbench is installed) or use the Generate Workspace button in Workbench
