Hi, We have moved to using a floating licence manager, which I have successfully configured against FME desktop. However the software is showing that it still has a fixed node licence attached to it as well. Is their a way to cleanly remove this without having to uninstall the software ?

Hi @nrich ,

The default location on Windows is C:\\ProgramData\\Safe Software\\FME\\Licenses. And you'll want to look for a *.fmelic file, this file is for fixed licenses. If you're on a different OS or do not see a *.fmelic file, see this question for where FME Licensing Assistant stores the license files.

You may also notice a few *.dat files in the same folder, those are for the floating license.
