Publish to FME Server: Workspace Name issue,

Publish to FME Server: Workspace Name issue,

 

 

I couldn’t figure out why “Publish to FME Server” doesn’t take the name of my file as “Workspace Name” but instead it takes other name

 

 

My file name is: UrbanMasterPlan_CAD_To_GIS_03.fmw

 

The name read by the FME (Workspace Name) is: T1_Published

 

 

From where the “T1_Published” is read considering that the name of my file is “UrbanMasterPlan_CAD_To_GIS_03.fmw” as shown in the screenshot below

 

 

 

 

What might be the issue here?

It may be the case that the workspace had been previously saved as T1_Published.fmw and so defaults to this name. If this is the case, it is likely hardcoded within your *.fmw itself. To check this, simply open the *.fmw in a Text Editor such as Notepad and search for T1_Published.

 

 

Typically though, FME Server defaults to either:

 

- blank (if the workspace is not saved)

 

- the name of the workspace

 

- or the name the workspace has previously been published via.
