Hi @leuciriccardo,

I'm not too sure I understand what you're looking to do, would you be to explain a bit further?

Are you wanting to edit KML to import into Google My Maps? It looks like Google My Maps accepts quite a few different formats for import, including KML. Have you been able to successfully read in your KML and edit your data? We've got a good number of KML tutorials that may be a good place to start if you're feeling stuck.

Hi, I’m trying to do the same, so get the data from a ‘google my maps’ using FME. Is it possible to see an example workspace? I’m not familiar with the https caller yet.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, @anneliesoosgis

Thanks for showing interest in this question thread. After doing a bit of looking around, the HTTPCaller wouldn’t be a great candidate here as Google My Maps doesn’t have an API. Google My Maps has the option to export as KML, which you can import it into FME. Though FME may not display the dataset correctly, its worth a try though!

In terms of an example workspace, we don’t have a Google My Maps workspace, but we do have articles with workspaces that you can use as a reference to possibly build it out: Tutorial: Getting Started with KML.

Hope this helps!
