I am writing out to excel and need to have the top row have different colors. Is there a way to just color top row? When I assign a color in the writer it applies it to the whole column.

When I want to do this, I create an empty Excel as a Template. That Excel would have the frist row with the attribute names and the style I want.

The Excel writer has a parameter to set a template. You also have to make sure that a row with the name of the attributes is not written (another parameter).
