Hi,

I try to do a very simple translation AutoCAD to AutoCAD (no transformers, just a change of version). everythings works fine except that the blocks are not translated, even if I include the reader file as template for the writer.

Does any one has a solution ? I want to obtain the same structure as the original file...

Thank's in advance

DID you use the DWGStyler?

That should make it easy to do because u can actualy import the blacks etc. from an existing dwg.

Well, I try this transformer, and add the template file. But still same problem...

What do I need to specify in the Blocks parameters ?

Hi,

You can import data from the input dwg using the styler. If u enter the dwg wher the style/block resides in and u check the blocks option, you can import them.

Did you set the settings of the DWG reader correctly? Mainly concerning blocks. ( standard it is set to expand blocks into entities. You may not want it to do that)
