AEC-Wall objects in FME using Autocad Civil 3D Reader

I have a dwg file format exported from Autocad Architecture which contains 3D Wall type objects. I am using “Autocad Civil 3D Reader” in FME(2026.1) but I am having two issues:

1. The geometry of the wall component (eg. hatches) is not being extracted by the reader. 

2. Wall style properties are not being read (the wall geometry has properties like style or material). 

I have tried to expose them (style attribute and geometry) but I could not find them. Note: I don’t get any errors.

Does anyone have suggestions how to deal with these issues?

    Hi ​@m.ira,

    It looks like we added support for AEC Wall features in FME 2025.1, but I don’t think I noticed too many feature attributes in the Civil 3D Reader Feature Representation doc, so it’s possible we haven’t added support for the aec_wall hatch and properties just yet.

    Would you be able to share a simple sample dataset and point out what attributes are missing? I’d be happy to take a closer look for it and file an enhancement request if it seems to be missing.
