FME Server Automation w/ Autodesk Vault

Does anyone have experience building out a FME Server Automation with a trigger based on changes in Autodesk Vault?

 

I was thinking a Directory Watch would be the way to go, but my IT group doesn't seem to think a directory path exists for the files in Vault. If it matters, Vault and the files therein are stored on local servers (not on the cloud).

 

Any information is appreciated.
