Is it possible to write ST_Geometry to Postgis database? I don't see any parameters in the Postgis writer that would allow this, so I am wondering if there is any work around?

As I recall the answer is Yes.

But you have to create the table in PostGis (using the ST_geometry type) and then import the table definitions in FME.

This is exactly what I need to do (migrating a Geomedia Sql Server Warehouse to an Esri enterprise Postgis geodatabase) but I see the post is a few years old.

Is it still true? Is there any other way?

Thanks
