Hi @sterla

You have a fixed license installed in your machine, so you have just one engine locally.

FME Form can run a maximum of 8 instances of fme.exe - https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/articles/25407717203725-Maximum-concurrent-FME-processes-error

That can be parallel processing, workspace runners, Form (Workbench), inspector

Thank you for tou answer , but In the case of having a fixe licence how much engine do we have initially is it come with one engine or nothing ?

Engines aren’t really a concept in Form. As the link I previously posted says, you can run 8 instances of fme.exe (which is effectively equivalent to an engine)

Yes but in the case of having a fme flow with an engine and I want to replace my engine of fme form by the one used in fme flow is it possible

I don’t quite follow/understand what you’re wanting to achieve.

FME Form and Flow use different licenses, they are not interchangeable. If you require additional capacity in regards to engines or Form it is best to talk to your reseller.

The underlying ‘engine’ that runs process on both Form and Flow is the same (assuming both are the same version).
