Hi,

Once I receive the new safe.lic file and activate the new license server, what happen with the old one ? Does it still remain active until I shut it down or will it immediately stop to work ?

Thanks

Hi @stefano,

Under the terms of the SLA you are required to remove the old license file upon activation of the new license server. It will not automatically stop working.

Cheers,

Cat

Hi @catatsafe,

Thanks for the answer. I asked because we need to migrate the Floating Server from an old Windows Server 2003 to the newest Windows Server 2019 and wanted to keep the old one still active as "backup" solution for a couple of days, so in case someting doesn´t work we can always move back to the old one.
