Hi,

I’m using quick
translator to translate date from oracle to shapefile and I got 2 shape files
as results: one for multipolygon and the other for area..

When using
Workbench everything is good. I got only one file.

Is there
any parameters to change in the quick translator..

Thanks

I do not know why the default behavior of Quick translator is to separate polygons and multi-polygons.

An option is to create a workspace (FMW file) with FME Workbench in which you have just one Shape featuretype for areas and run that workspace using Quick translator.

Thanks.. Actually (I think) that should be corrected because it is difficult if every time I should make a workspace to do that..

I agree it should be corrected if this is the default behavior.

What does the logfile say for the Quick Translator? I see this at the foot of mine:

2016-03-30 11:57:14| 0.6| 0.0|STATS |__TidyOutput(TeeFactory): Cloned 0 input feature(s) into 0 output feature(s)

Just interested to know what it is doing.
