Hi Guys,

i have an aggregated surface and want to convert it in a solid geometry

SolidBuilder cant do it and abort it because of an invalid geometry

But i think its not so easy to do it with SolidBuilder alone, but i'm not so familiar with this geometries.

Can somebody help me becaus eof that? (screenshot include)

Thx and Greetz

Franco

Hi @franco69,

You can force the surface to a solid using the GeometryCoercer. Unlike the SolidBuilder, this does not check for validity. You can then use the GeometryValidator to check for invalid solid boundaries.

Hi @DaveAtSafe, @itay

now i have a solid (Coercer) in the Inspector (screenshot)

, but (and I said before i am not familiar with these geometries) why is it again a mesh in AUTOCAD and not a 3D solid?

Hi @franco69, not sure about it, but possibly setting the autocad_entity to autocad_solid3d might help
