Hello @vimva679, thanks for posting to the FME Community! You mention the Leica equipment produces point cloud data, are you able to pass along the exact file format or extension (eg. ".las", ".xyz")? Otherwise, I suggest we take a look at FME's Format Matrix (Filter by category: "LiDAR & Point Cloud").

If we do not offer a native Reader/Writer for the format you're looking to migrate, are you able to export to any other formats? Happy to help, Kailin.

@kailinatsafe Hello plz i had to wait for survey team to pass me details of file format, please find the screenshot of point cloud

  1. RAW point cloud downloaded from LEICA RTC360 MicrosoftTeams-image
  2. Once we process using mySurvey (https://leica-geosystems.com/en-gb/products/laser-scanners/software/leica-cyclone/leica-cyclone-register-360) this is the final output

No other format it could be exported as the point cloud could not be read

Hello @vimva679, no worries at all! So it looks like the processed .scan files are saved as IFC and TEXT files? is that correct? If that is the case, FME does offer both IFC and TEXT File Readers! If you're new to working with IFC in FME, check out this Getting Started with BIM tutorial series! Happy to help, Kailin.

Hello @vimva679, unfortunately we've retired support@safe.com, are you able to resubmit the case using this online form? I'll keep my eyes open for the case. Many thanks, Kailin.
